Obair Social Inclusion Remit
The Obair Local Development Social Inclusion Programme (LDSIP) has amalgamated with three other companies to develop a new company called the Clare Local Development Company (CLDC). (www.cldc.ie) Obair LDSIP, Ennis West Partners, EIRI Corca Baiscinn & Rural Resource Development have joined together to administer county coverage to Clare.
Obair still has a social inclusion remit, with a Social Inclusion Committee who meet the second Tuesday of every month. Obairs' Developmental Worker Siobhan O'Driscoll is working closely with the committee and the new Clare Local Development Company in tackling local issues in an effort to counter exclusion.
