The after-school project aims to support the children educationally and socially. Its overall objective is to try and prevent early school leaving in later years. We are a not for profit organisation, and rely on funding from various state, and non-sate organsiations.

The afterschool project runs from September through to June during the school year. Hours of opening are from 3:00pm to 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Throughout the school term time we provide homework support for the children alongside various activities and workshops for the children. For example this year we have run a Mad Science workshop, Stranger Danger workshop and a Safer Cycling Iniative. The children also recieve a nutrious cooked meal when they arrive in from school.

During the summer months the After-school Project turns into a summer camp. The summer camp is run all through the summer months except for the last two weeks in July, where the service closes down for annual holidays. The hours of opening are Monday to Friday from 9:00-6:00pm or you can avail of the sessional service from 11:30-3:30pm from Monday to Friday.
